Hoffmann Architects investigated the causes of deterioration in the roof, balconies and distinctive stone, terra cotta and brick façades of this landmark hotel, which is under the management of Hyatt Corporation. Based on investigation results, the firm provided repair recommendations, construction cost estimates and outline specifications to guide the restoration work. This included negotiations with regulatory agencies on compliance with landmark preservation requirements for the restoration.
